Gibraltar
I went to Gibraltar the day following Ronda. Its funny because being a British territory, one needs to have their passport to enter (but the border crossing was actually the most laid back border security possible, the guards barely glancing up to check it). From there you can see the coast of Africa (morocco) and the strait of gibraltar. Went on a tour bus of the tiny city (30,000 people and only 6 km in diameter (i think 6 square miles about))and into a cave where they actually have live concerts inside. chulo. And maybe the best part was hanging out with the "semi-wild" monkeys that live on the big rock that is the island (we learned it's actually a peninsula but has been called an island all throughout history). The monkeys are so used to people and just chill all around the road and hop on car mirrors as they drive by looking for food. one actually jumped on this girls back! haha. and another girl from our tour bus got bit and had to have a rabies shot when she got back to Sevilla. (but she was trying to take a picture with the monkey on her shoulders)
