Cádiz and Ronda

So last weekend I went to Cadiz (about 2 hours south of Sevilla right on the beach) to celebrate Carnival . It is a huge party in the streets basically all through the night, for a couple days. Everyone dresses up in costume like halloween. And like halloween everyone drinks. So it was a pretty crazy night unlike any ive seen. the plazas were absolutely packed and everyone was dressed up. We took a party bus there and they had a costume contest that a buddy of mine actually won (just a ridiculous costume) and the prize was a trip to Gibraltar. So tomorrow me and two other guys are heading to Gibraltar for the day on a tour bus.

And i just got back from a day trip to Ronda. It is really small but is home to one of Spain's oldest bullrings. Youll see the pictures. bonita. cliffs. old buildings. waterfall. An old man came up to me and Britt and started telling us all about what we were looking at. How down below is old arab baths and pointing out landmarks and the "arbol de amor" and reciting about twenty cities from the u.s. that he knew from when he was studying. He was a really nice, funny old man and a lot of fun to talk to.
